Car Park Ventilation Control

We provide car park ventilation control for sheltered car park, two areas to be focus:

1. CO and LPG gas pollution monitoring, &
2. Smoke clearance and control

CO and LPG gas pollution monitoring

According to building regulation, the carbon monoxide pollution levels should not exceed 30ppm when averaged over a period of 8 hours and no time should exceed 90ppm for more than 15 minutes. We provide CO and haze gas detectors to monitor the air pollution level. This information is then fed directly to the car park ventilation control system enabling to quick respond to lower down the pollution by extracting the polluted air.

Smoke clearance and smoke control

In case of fire, smoke will be generated. We provide smoke detector in various locations to detect smoke. Once the smoke detector detects the smoke level is above the setting, it will generate a signal to run the extract fan in full speed to extract the smoke out of the car park. The system should be designed to provide 6 air changes per hour for daily normal ventilation and 10 air changes per hour for smoke extract in the event of fire.

Our system can be linked to a fully addressable fire detection system (smoke, multi-criteria or sprinkler flow switches) for the proper fire alarm reporting, life rescue and fire fighting follow up action.
